ABOUT SCHOOL

For more than three decades Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Shaikshanik Vikas Samiti, Ratlam has worked with a spirit and a vision to establish new horizons in the filed of education. Today, it stands as a citadel of learning and a harbinger of quality consciousness committed to developing the minds and initiative of children.
One of Samiti’s milestone Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Academy, Ratlam, established in the year 2001 is located on the outskirts of the city with a lush green background in the lap of nature. With its exquisite setup and spacious classrooms, it proclaims a prefect environment for the academic pursuits of its pupils. A matchless effort for the all-round growth and development of its students marks the vision and foundation of the Academy.

The school is set-up in a huge area catering to the academic needs as well as sports and games for the students and boasts of putting in six and half hour schedule as per requisite standards laid down by CBSE. The school is designed in such a way that it has two separate buildings one for junior classes and the other for senior classes. Each building contains separate library and laboratories. There is a big auditorium in the campus, which is used for indoor games, cultural activities as well as yoga training. We have standard ground for cricket, hockey, football, basketball court, tennis court and a swimming pool. The school is equipped with laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics and also for English Language.

For a child, the first experience of a school should be both stimulating and exciting. The Kindergarten section of the school is the best section with educational toys and colourful walls. The children obtain their first lesson of life by the most congenial and caring teachers amidst classrooms that depict various stories in pictorial form on the walls.

Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Academy is the quintessential fusion of excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic pursuits along with physical fitness. We cherish ideals of academic excellence, sense of responsibility, positive attitude, self-motivation, a high moral character and an individualized sense of discipline and observance of code of conduct.

Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Academy, Ratlam, established in the year 2001 is located on the outskirts of the city with a lush green background in the lap of nature. With its exquisite setup and spacious class-rooms, it proclaims a prefect environment for the academic pursuits of its pupils.
There is a big auditorium in the campus which is used for indoor games as well as yoga training. We have standard ground for cricket, hockey, football, basketball court, tennis court and a swimming pool.
Our vision for excellence in education has kept pace with the ceaseless and kaleidoscopic changes in the world, preparing students for the global knowledge-based society. Each student’s individuality is respected and the student is taught to compete against himself or herself rather than against other.
For a child, the first experience of a school should be both stimulating and exciting. The Kindergarten section of the school is the best section with educational toys and colourful walls. The children obtain their first lesson of life by the most congenial and caring teachers amidst classrooms that depict various stories in pictorial form on the walls of classrooms.
We provide stress-free education from where children could unleash their creativity which nurtures confidence in them. The children need to be composed enough to concentrate, yet free enough to experiment and make mistakes without feeling exposed or self-conscious. We aim to give a firm foundation in the basic skills and do this largely through continuous and comprehensive evaluation, assignment, presentation, group discussion, project work, etc. Enjoyable as well as educational, this encourages general knowledge and an interest in the children’s surrounding creeps in which develops their Intelligence Quotient (IQ).
We believe, learning by capturing a set of experience enables one to explore new realms of wisdom as life is not a set of instruction but a series of experiences. Keeping in view the students at secondary level, we have provided with well equipped laboratories for conducting experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. These laboratories serve as a bridge between theory and practical. There is a wonderful library that makes books of all disciplines, magazines and newspapers available to the students for satiating their thirst for knowledge.
Although, the school is growing in number of students as well as member of the faculty, all efforts are made to maintain the quality of education and care of the pupils. The school expands by one class each year. Consequently, we have submitted application to CBSE for affiliation to Higher Secondary classes.
It has been our earnest intent to build a strong educational experience for each child through committed teamwork in a stimulating and friendly environment where children feel secure and grow to their full potential. The school is concerned with developing the individual talent and intelligence of each student.
For me a school is not just brick, cement and steel but it has soul also. It is about character building and enriching the mind as well as enriching the vision of the pupil that lasts a lifetime.
“No one ever fails for lack of ability. The only reason is lack of preparation”.
